AI ad management: an agent that works in your own ad account

AI ad management: an agent checks your Google and Facebook ads daily, tells you on WhatsApp what happened and prepares new ads. You approve every budget change.

  • Works in the ad accounts you already have, on Google, Facebook and Instagram
  • Checks the account every day, and tells you on WhatsApp what happened
  • No budget changes, and no campaign starts, without your approval

Your agent is set up and supported by Shahaf Platin of Platin Digital, who builds AI agents for businesses after 12 years in websites and marketing.

  1. You ask: Prepare a campaign for personal training and suggest a budget.
  2. An ad and an action plan
  3. The campaign and budget proposal are ready. Launch it?
Illustration: how it looks, from your request to your approval

Sunday, 9:30 PM

You open your ad account, for the first time in two weeks

Half an hour at the screen, and most things stay as they were

  1. A screen full of numbers: impressions, clicks, "cost per result". Hard to tell whether the week was good or bad
  2. The week’s money has been spent. On which ads exactly, you’d have to dig
  3. The ad "September offer: free trial session, until Sept 30" is still running, ten days after the offer ended
  4. You pause it, close the account, and put off the rest until next Sunday night

Each thing reached you on WhatsApp, the day it happened

  1. On the morning of October 1 you got a message: "The September offer ended yesterday, and its ad is still running. Pause it?" You answered "Yes"
  2. A new ad to replace it, without the offer and with a photo from the studio, was waiting for your approval the next day
  3. Every Monday morning you got five lines: how much was spent, how many people got in touch, and what changed from the week before
  4. On Sunday night you have no reason to open the account

Instead of half an hour on a Sunday night: an AI agent for paid ads opens your ad account every day, and tells you on WhatsApp what happened and what it suggests doing.

In short

What an AI agent is

Software you message on WhatsApp with what to do, and it does it in your ad account: checks it every day, tells you what it found, and prepares ads and suggestions for your approval.

The work it takes on

The daily look at the account, the weekly summary, and preparing the ads: text, image and video. On Google, Facebook and Instagram.

What stays with you

The decisions. A new campaign and any budget change wait for your approval. So does a new ad, until you decide otherwise. You keep paying Google and Facebook directly for the ads.

How you start

With a week in which it only looks and reports, with no ability to change anything in the account. Once you’ve seen it reads the account correctly, we add ads and suggestions.

Google and Facebook ad management: what the agent does each week

Six jobs an ads specialist does in an account, and that in a small business wait until you have time. On each card: what you write to the agent, and what it does. The examples are from a personal training studio.

Daily check

You write to it

"Look at the account every morning, and message me only when something is unusual"

And it
  • Goes through every ad: how much was spent on it, how many people clicked and how many got in touch
  • Compares with a normal week of yours
  • Messages you when an ad is rejected, a campaign stops, or the day’s budget runs out early
  • On a normal day, sends nothing

Weekly summary

You write to it

"Every Monday morning: how much was spent, how many people got in touch, and what changed"

And it
  • Sums up Google, Facebook and Instagram in one message
  • Writes five lines in plain English, without ad-industry terms
  • Writes "too early to tell" when the numbers are too small
  • Adds one or two suggestions, which wait for your approval

New ads

You write to it

"A beginners’ running group starts in November. Prepare an ad for it"

And it
  • Writes two or three versions of the text, in your style
  • Prepares an image or a short video, including from studio photos you sent it
  • Sends you everything, and you choose or ask for changes
  • Publishes the ad only after you’ve approved it

A new campaign

You write to it

"Prepare a campaign for personal training and suggest a budget"

And it
  • Asks for what it’s missing: which area, where to advertise, and up to how much a month
  • Prepares the ads and all the settings
  • Suggests an amount per day, and says what that comes to per month
  • Starts the campaign only after you approve

Unrelated searches on Google

You write to it

"Once a week, check what people searched on Google before they clicked my ad"

And it
  • Goes through the week’s searches, and how much was spent on each
  • Marks searches that have nothing to do with you, such as "personal trainer course"
  • Sends you a short list, with a reason next to each search
  • Blocks what you approved, and asks about anything unclear

Which ad brought inquiries

You write to it

"Tell me which ad brought the people who actually came to a trial session"

And it
  • Compares the ads with the inquiries that came through the website form and by email
  • Asks you at the end of the week who came to a session and who signed up
  • Adds your answer to the following week’s summary

This is how we start: with the first two jobs, because in those it only reads and reports. New ads and campaigns join once you’ve seen it understands your account and your business.

One campaign, from the request until it starts running

The example from the illustration at the top of the page, step by step. Say you run a personal training studio, and you wrote the agent one sentence. All the numbers here are for illustration.

  1. You ask, and it asks back

You message it on WhatsApp. It reads the personal training page on your website, and asks only what isn’t written there: which area, where to advertise, and up to how much a month.

  2. It prepares ads

You get three versions of the ad. Each has short text and an image, from studio photos you sent it. You choose one, or ask for a change: "Drop the word professional, and add that there’s parking". Until you approve, nobody sees it.

  3. It suggests a budget

It suggests $15 a day, which is about $450 a month, within the amount you named (numbers for illustration). Next to the suggestion it says where the ad will appear, and to whom: ages 25 to 50, within 10 km of the studio.

  4. It asks: launch?

You get one message, saying which ad will run, where, and how much will be spent per day and per month. Two buttons: launch or edit. Until you tap "Launch", the ad is shown to nobody, and not a cent is spent.

  5. You approve, and the campaign runs

It starts the campaign in your account, at exactly the amount you approved. From tomorrow morning it checks it every day, and on Monday you get the first summary. Want to raise or lower the budget? It suggests, and you decide.

On Google, a single day can cost up to twice the daily amount you set, and over a full month you’re not charged more than the daily amount times 30.4. That’s what Google Ads Help says. So the agent always gives you the monthly amount too, so that one expensive day doesn’t surprise you.

Five things that go wrong in an account nobody opens

An ad account keeps working even when nobody opens it: the ads run and the money goes out, even if something has gone wrong along the way. The agent opens the account every day. In each of these five cases it tells you what happened, and asks what to do.

Facebook rejected one of your ads

When nobody is lookingThe ad is shown to nobody, until someone opens the account and notices

AI agentTells you in the morning check which ad was rejected, and asks whether to send Facebook a corrected version it has already prepared

The day’s budget ran out by 11 AM, when it normally lasts until evening

When nobody is lookingIt repeats day after day, and you see it only the next time you open the account

AI agentTells you the next morning that more people clicked while inquiries didn’t go up, and asks whether to lower the budget until you understand why

The form on your website stopped sending inquiries, and the ads keep running

When nobody is lookingPeople arrive from the ad and fill in a form that reaches nobody, and the money keeps going out

AI agentSees that people are clicking as usual, and that no inquiry has come through the form for several days. Tells you to check the form, and asks whether to pause the ads until it’s fixed. The form itself is fixed by whoever manages your website

Someone who searched Google for "personal trainer course" clicked your personal training ad

When nobody is lookingMoney is spent on people who want to learn a trade, not to train, and that search keeps showing your ad

AI agentSends you, once a week, the searches that have nothing to do with you, with the amount spent on each, and asks which to block

You published three ads, and one of them gets almost the whole budget

When nobody is lookingThe other two are hardly shown, and you don’t know whether they’re any good

AI agentTells you in the weekly summary which ad got most of the money, and that it’s too early to judge the other two. It asks whether to leave it that way, or give them a chance too

Google’s and Facebook’s automatic tools, such as Performance Max and Advantage+, keep working as usual: they decide who sees the ads and where. The agent doesn’t replace them. It checks what came of it this week, and tells you. More detail: managing Google and Facebook campaigns with AI.

Is your advertising a fit for an agent?

Six short questions about your ads. The result appears here right away, and you don’t need to leave any details.

What’s missing most from your advertising today? Pick as many as apply
How much do you spend on ads a month? Roughly, Google and Facebook together
Where do your ads run?
How often does someone open your ad account? You, an employee, or whoever runs your ads
What should the agent do in the account, once you approve? Pick as many as apply
When someone new gets in touch, do you know how they found you?

Answer all the questions to see your result.

What the agent does on its own, and what waits for your approval

This is how we start. You can move things from "Prepares and asks" to "On its own". A budget change and starting a campaign stay with your approval.

On its own

  • Reads the numbers in your ad accounts
  • Messages you when something is unusual
  • Sends a weekly summary
  • Prepares ads: text, image and video, and sends them to you
  • Prepares suggestions on budget and on searches worth blocking
  • Logs everything it does

Prepares and asks

  • Starting a new campaign
  • Any budget change, up or down
  • A new ad, or a change to an ad that’s already running
  • Pausing a campaign or an ad
  • Blocking searches on Google
  • Changing who sees the ads: area, age, interests

No access

  • Your password
  • Changing the credit card or payment details in the account
  • Deleting a campaign or past data
  • Adding or removing users in the account
  • Accounts you didn’t ask us to connect

Whatever is waiting for approval reaches you wherever suits you: WhatsApp, Telegram or email. The message says what will change, where and by how much. For example, with illustrative numbers: "Lower the personal training campaign’s budget from $15 to $12 a day, until Monday. Nothing else changes". After a few weeks you can decide that small things that don’t spend money are done without asking, such as blocking a search that clearly has nothing to do with you. On the safeguards behind this: AI agent security.

The accounts and apps it connects to

The agent works in the ad accounts you already have. They stay yours and in your name, and no new account is opened with us. You keep paying Google and Meta (the company behind Facebook and Instagram) directly for the ads, from your own card.

Where the ads run

  • Google Ads
  • Meta Ads (ads on Facebook and Instagram)

Where you see who got in touch

  • Your website form (WordPress, Elementor)
  • Google Analytics
  • Gmail
  • Google Sheets

Images and videos for ads

  • Canva
  • Photos and videos you send it

How it talks to you

  • WhatsApp
  • Telegram
  • Email

In each ad account the agent gets its own username, not your password. That way you can see what it did, and it can be removed without touching anything else. At first it gets view-only access, in which it can’t change anything, not even by mistake. We turn on its ability to make changes once you’ve seen how it works.

Getting started: five steps until the agent works in your account

In the first three steps, no ad and no budget changes.

  1. Intro call

    We need you here

Together we go through your ad accounts, and settle three things: who the customer you want is, the monthly amount not to exceed, and how you know who got in touch because of an ad.

  2. Connecting

    We need you here

You add the agent as a user in your ad accounts, and we show you how, screen by screen. No password is handed over. At first it gets view-only access. The agent itself runs on a separate computer in the cloud.

  3. Test on your own account

    We need you here

A week in which it only reads and reports: a message when something is unusual, and one summary on Monday. You check that its numbers match what you see in the account, and correct it by message, for example "someone who wrote to me on WhatsApp counts as an inquiry too". It remembers the correction for next time.

  4. It starts working

    We need you here

When the summaries are accurate, we open up its ability to act in the account. From that moment it prepares ads and suggestions, and each one reaches you with two buttons: approve or edit. Didn’t approve? Nothing in the account changes.

  5. Ongoing support

We regularly go through what it did and what you didn’t approve, and fix things when Google or Meta change something in the account. It takes a few minutes a week from you: reading the summary, and answering the suggestions.

The order is fixed: first the daily check and the weekly summary, in which it only reads, and after them new ads. How long each part takes is in the last question below. What to prepare before the call: building an AI agent for your business.

Running it yourself, an ad agency or an AI agent

Three ways to handle a small business’s advertising, in five situations:

Running it yourself

As you do today

Who opens the account
You, when there’s time
An ad is rejected on a Tuesday
You find out the next time you open the account
You need a new ad
You write and design it yourself, in the evening
Who decides on the budget
You
What you pay
Only the ads, and your time

An ad agency or a freelancer

A professional who runs it for you

Who opens the account
The campaign manager, on the days you agreed
An ad is rejected on a Tuesday
They deal with it, as agreed with them
You need a new ad
The agency’s writer and designer, with experience from many businesses
Who decides on the budget
They recommend, and you set the amount
What you pay
A monthly management fee, on top of the ads

An AI agent

We connect and support it

Who opens the account
The agent, every day
An ad is rejected on a Tuesday
A message to you the next morning, with a corrected version
You need a new ad
Two or three versions, with an image or video, for your approval
Who decides on the budget
You, on every change
What you pay
A one-time setup fee and a monthly fee, on top of the ads

What the agent can replace is the routine work you pay a freelancer or an agency for: the daily look at the account, the summary, going through the searches and the new ads. A brand idea, a photo shoot and knowledge of your industry from dozens of similar businesses stay with people. You can also combine the two: the agency keeps running things, and the agent gets view-only access and sends you an extra summary, in plain English.

When it isn’t a fit

Four situations where we’ll tell you on the intro call: not yet.

You don’t know who got in touch because of an ad

If nobody asks "How did you find us?" and inquiries aren’t recorded anywhere, there’s no way to know whether an ad brought inquiries. Start writing it down first. After a month of that the agent has something to work with.

The budget is very small

When you spend less than $150 a month on ads, there’s little in the account to check, and a look from you once a week is enough. The same goes for a budget of up to $300, if you open the account every day anyway.

You want a guaranteed number of inquiries

We don’t commit to a number of inquiries or a cost per inquiry. The agent checks, reports and prepares. How many people get in touch also depends on your price, your area and what you offer.

You don’t have a few minutes a week to answer it

Every suggestion it makes waits for your answer. If nobody answers, the suggestions pile up and the account stays as it was. If you want someone to decide on the money for you, an agent won’t give you that.

Frequently asked questions

Does the agent work in my ad account, or in yours?

In yours. It enters the ad accounts you already have on Google and Meta (Facebook and Instagram), as an additional user with its own name. The accounts, the ads and everything built up in them stay yours and in your name. If you decide to stop, its access is removed, and the account carries on as before.

Can it spend money without my approval?

No. It isn’t connected to your credit card, and any budget change or campaign start waits for your "Yes". The message says what will change, where and by how much. Even when one of its suggestions is wrong, you see it before anything happens. And there’s a list of everything it did in the account, so you can always see what changed and when.

Does it prepare images and videos too, or only text?

Both. It writes the text, and prepares an image or a short video for the ad: from photos of your business that you sent it, or from scratch. Everything comes to you for approval before anyone sees it. Don’t like it? Tell it what to change, as you would a designer.

And what happens when something goes wrong at night?

It checks the account once a day, in the morning. A problem that happened overnight reaches you in the morning message, with what happened and what it suggests doing. In the meantime, no more money can go out than the budget you approved allows. Prefer something else? It can be set to check several times a day. You can also set in advance one or two cases, such as a form that isn’t working, in which it pauses the ads on its own and tells you. To turn them back on, it asks for approval.

Who sees my account’s data?

The agent runs on a separate cloud computer used only by your business, so your account’s data isn’t mixed with any other business’s. To read the numbers and write to you, it passes them to the AI company that powers it, such as OpenAI, Anthropic or Google. Before connecting, we agree with you on what that company may do with them. It sees the names and phone numbers of people who contacted you only if you asked to connect the form or the email, and in that case we choose a company and terms under which the information is used for nothing else.

Will it bring me more inquiries?

We don’t promise that. What does change: someone looks at the account every day, a problem reaches you the next morning and not at the end of the week, and every Monday you know what the money was spent on. How many people get in touch also depends on your price, your area and what you offer.

How much does ad management with an AI agent cost?

You pay once for the setup, then a monthly fee for ongoing support. There is also a charge for using the AI itself, and it appears in the proposal you receive. You get the exact price in writing before we start. The money for the ads is a separate matter: you keep paying that directly to Google and Meta. What the price is made up of: How much does an AI agent for business cost.

How long until it starts working?

A first, simple job, such as the daily check and the weekly summary, can be running within three days of connecting, with every change in the account still waiting for your approval. Everything together, with new ads, both ad accounts and the link to your inquiries, takes one to two months.

When did you last open your ad account?

Message us on WhatsApp with where you advertise, and roughly what you spend a month. We’ll tell you what an agent can take off your hands, and what would stay your decision. No commitment.
