Monday, 10:30 PM

The owner of a small studio in Haifa watches yet another video about Muse. In it, someone in Texas asks the agent to cancel a subscription, book a technician and prepare an Instagram campaign, then goes to sleep. She opens muse.ai, and the landing page speaks to her in Hebrew, with a tagline that reads roughly "Muse, the AI that does it for you."

She's about to click "Create account." Then the question comes up: does this even work from here?

A landing page in Hebrew is not a service available in Israel. And that difference matters more than it looks.

Muse in Israel has been one of the hottest searches in local AI since September. The short answer: as of October 6, 2026, Meta's Muse is still not available in Israel. In this guide we checked every claim against Meta's and OpenAI's official sources: why it isn't here, what Meta has said about expansion, what's known about Hebrew, why you shouldn't get around the restriction with a VPN, and what does work from Israel today. If you're not yet sure what Muse does, start with the complete guide to Meta Muse. If you're reading from another country, the same logic applies: check Meta's help page for your own location.

In short

  • Muse is not available in Israel. According to Meta, it is currently available only in the US and Canada, and is in "limited testing."
  • No date. Meta has not published a list of additional countries or a date for expansion. Hebrew doesn't appear in any official announcement we found either.
  • A VPN is a bad idea. According to Meta's help page you need to be in a country where Muse is available, and under the terms Meta can also restrict Meta accounts tied to anyone who violates them.
  • What to do meanwhile: Meta AI is available in Hebrew on WhatsApp, ChatGPT Work and OpenAI's dots work from Israel on the right plans, and a business also has the option of a dedicated agent. In parallel, prepare using the checklist below.

Is Muse available in Israel? Not yet

The bottom line: no. Muse is available today in just two countries, the United States and Canada.

Muse launched in the US on September 8, 2026. According to the Canadian site iPhone in Canada, it opened in Canada on September 18. In the announcement of Muse for Small Business, on September 29, Meta wrote that the service is available in the US and Canada. No country has been added since. We checked Meta's newsroom on October 6, and the latest Muse announcement there is still the one from September 29.

Three numbers sum up the situation:

2countries where Muse is available: the US and Canada, per Meta
0dates announced for expansion to more countries, in the official sources we checked
11new markets, Israel among them, where Meta announced its AI glasses will arrive by the end of the year. Muse was not mentioned in that context

Why isn't Muse in Israel yet?

The honest answer: Meta hasn't explained. What it has said is that the service is in limited testing, and that you need to be in a country where it's available.

Meta's help page on Muse subscriptions says two important things. First, that Muse and its subscriptions are in limited testing and not yet available everywhere. Second, that to sign up for a subscription you need to be in a country where Muse is available. The same page also says that benefits and availability may vary by region and by account.

Muse's terms of use are also built around regions, and include an entire section that applies only to residents of the US and Canada.

And why these two countries specifically? Meta hasn't said. Our guess, and no more than that: according to TechCrunch, the shopping partnerships shown at Meta Connect are with chains like Walmart, Best Buy and Sephora. An agent that buys and books on your behalf needs partners and terms that fit each country, and that takes time.

What has Meta said about expanding to more countries?

Nothing binding. There is no country list, no date, and no mention of Israel in connection with Muse.

Here is what we found, in order:

  • The launch announcement, September 8. Meta wrote that Muse was built to work for billions of people around the world. That's a vision, not a schedule.
  • The Canada launch, September 18. According to iPhone in Canada, Meta wrote on X: "Made it to Canada. Where to next?" A hint that there are more destinations, without the name of a country.
  • Meta Connect, September 23. Meta announced that Ray-Ban Meta and Oakley Meta glasses will arrive in Israel and ten other markets by the end of the year, and that Muse will come to the glasses "in the coming months." Note: these are two separate announcements. Meta did not write that Muse will work on the glasses in Israel.
  • Muse for Small Business, September 29. Meta promised more connectors and capabilities in the coming months. Nothing was written about new countries.

There are articles online saying that "Meta said more countries will be added." We didn't find that in an official announcement, so we won't build on it.

Muse in Hebrew: what's known and what isn't

In short: unknown. Meta has not published a language list for Muse in any official source we checked.

There are three facts worth holding together, without mixing them up:

  1. The muse.ai landing page was shown to us in Hebrew when we checked on October 6. That is a translation of the landing page. It says nothing about the quality of the agent in Hebrew.
  2. Meta AI, Meta's general assistant, speaks Hebrew. According to Ynetnews from June 30, 2026, it launched in Israel in Hebrew, on WhatsApp and on the meta.ai site, and runs on Muse Spark, Meta's language model.
  3. Muse, the agent, is also built on the Muse Spark family. So there is a reasonable basis to assume the model understands Hebrew. But an agent that fills in forms on Israeli sites, reads invoices in Hebrew and writes messages to customers in Hebrew is a completely different test.

Our recommendation: when Muse opens in Israel, test its Hebrew on one real task before you connect a business account to it. For example, a draft reply to a customer based on your price list.

Meta AI is available in Israel, Muse isn't. What's the difference?

Meta AI is an assistant that answers and creates. Muse is an agent that does. Only the first is available in Israel.

This is the most common confusion. According to the Meta Connect summary, Muse is also reachable through WhatsApp, but only in countries where it's available. In Israel, what you'll find in WhatsApp is Meta AI.

Meta AI

Available in Israel, in Hebrew

  • Answers questions, writes text, creates and edits images
  • On WhatsApp and the meta.ai site, per Ynetnews
  • Per the same article, you can connect Gmail and Outlook to it
  • Great for ideas, drafting and quick questions
  • You are still the one who does the work

Muse

Not yet available in Israel

  • An agent that carries out tasks on your behalf
  • Works on a dedicated virtual computer in the cloud, with its own browser
  • Connects to the apps you choose
  • Asks for approval before sensitive actions
  • Available only in the US and Canada

The image we like: Meta AI is a smart friend in the WhatsApp group. Muse is a personal assistant with keys. The friend gives great advice. The assistant walks in and does it. Right now, in Israel, there's only the friend.

Why you shouldn't get around it with a VPN

Because it contradicts Meta's availability terms, and it puts at risk exactly the accounts that matter most to a business.

There are quite a few guides online on "how to use Muse from anywhere." We recommend not doing it, and here's why:

Myth"If I managed to get in, it means it's allowed"

In factAccording to Meta's help page, a condition for signing up for a subscription is being in a country where Muse is available. A VPN changes the address the site sees, not the place where you are.

Myth"Worst case, they'll block my Muse"

In factAccording to Muse's terms of use, if Meta determines that conduct violates its terms or policies, it may suspend or disable access to Muse and/or to Meta accounts associated with it. For a business, those are the Facebook Page, Instagram and the ad account.

Myth"A VPN just hides me, it doesn't see anything"

In factAccording to the FTC, the US consumer protection agency, someone who uses a VPN app gives it permission to intercept all of their internet traffic. The FTC also warns that many VPN apps are free because they sell advertising or share data with third parties.

Myth"It's just to try, I won't connect anything important"

In factAll of Muse's value is in the connections: email, calendar, shopping and business accounts. An agent you connect nothing to is mostly a chatbot, and for that there are alternatives available in Israel with no risk at all.

What you can use in Israel today

There are four real alternatives, and each suits a different need. None of them is "Muse in Hebrew," but together they cover most of what people are looking for.

A few important clarifications:

  • ChatGPT agent no longer exists. According to OpenAI's help center, ChatGPT Work took its place. If you ran into an old guide recommending "agent mode," that's why.
  • dots launched on September 29. According to OpenAI, they connect to more than 4,000 apps through plugins, and the first dot is included in the Pro and Business Premium plans. Check your account, because the rollout is gradual. We went into detail in the guide OpenAI dots, and in the comparison Muse vs dots.
  • Hebrew in dots and ChatGPT Work: OpenAI did not publish a dedicated language list for the two products in the sources we checked. It's worth testing on a real task.

A dedicated business agent is what we at Platin Digital set up, so we'll describe it exactly as it is. We are an OpenAI Select Partner, and we build agents with whichever models and tools fit each business best, from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and others. Each agent runs on a separate cloud server, connects to WordPress, Google Ads, Meta ad accounts and Analytics, and takes tasks over Telegram. Publishing, a budget change or a message in the business's name wait for your approval. It requires setup, and it doesn't replace a personal agent that books you a technician. But it doesn't depend on when a consumer platform opens in Israel. We went deeper in the guide AI agent for business.

Which alternative suits you until Muse arrives?

Six questions, half a minute. Answer based on what's true for you today.

Do you need the agent to work in the business's systems, like a WordPress site or Google Ads?
Is there digital work that comes up every week and keeps getting pushed off?
Is it important to you to define exactly what the agent does on its own and what waits for your approval?
Do you need a solution that works from Israel this month, without waiting for a launch?
Is it important to you that each system gets a separate, minimal user and permission?
Are you willing to invest in setup so the agent knows the business in depth?

Answer all the questions to see a result.

How you'll know Muse has arrived in Israel

Don't rely on social media posts. The announcement will come from an official Meta source, and you check availability yourself, without a VPN.

Four places to check, in order

  1. Meta's newsroomabout.fb.com. Every Muse announcement so far was published there
  2. Meta's help centerThe Muse subscriptions page spells out location and availability terms
  3. A normal try from Israelmuse.ai or the app store. Make sure the developer is Meta
  4. You decideTest Hebrew and connections on one task, and only then connect a business account

In gold: the step where the decision is yours. When there's an official announcement about Israel, we'll update this guide too.

One more tip: when a hot product isn't available in a country, apps with similar names pop up. Check that the developer is Meta before you install or enter any details.

What to prepare now, so you're ready the day it happens

Most of the preparation for Muse has nothing to do with Muse. Mapping tasks, sorting out permissions and setting clear boundaries will work with any agent: Meta's, OpenAI's, or a dedicated one.

Now, on launch day, and never

Do right now

  • A list of tasks that recur every week
  • Sort out who holds access to the Page, Instagram and the ad account
  • Two-step verification on Meta accounts
  • Decide what the agent may do on its own

The day it opens in Israel

  • Test Hebrew on one real task
  • Check which connections are actually available here
  • Connect one or two apps, not everything
  • Read the privacy and training settings

Never do

  • Get around it with a VPN
  • Install an app from a developer other than Meta
  • Connect an account with access to money on day one
  • Paste passwords into a conversation

And here is the full checklist. Mark what's already settled on your side:

Preparing for Muse in Israel

We covered privacy in more depth in the guide Muse and privacy.

Our opinion: don't wait idly

Muse is an impressive product, and when it reaches Israel it will suit a lot of people. But there's no reason to put the business on hold until then.

For a business whose activity is mostly on Instagram, Facebook and Shopify, Muse may be a natural fit when it opens here. If that's you, prepare using the checklist and wait for an official announcement.

For a business whose site is on WordPress and whose budget is in Google Ads, the picture is different. Even when Muse opens here, you'll need to check whether it reaches those systems in depth. In the meantime, you can learn to work with an agent using tools that are already available from Israel.

The common mistake we see isn't "choosing the wrong tool." It's waiting for the perfect tool and never starting. The real work, deciding what you hand off, what needs approval and what you don't touch, carries over to any agent you choose.

Frequently asked questions

Is Muse available in Israel?

No. As of October 6, 2026, Muse, Meta's personal AI agent that carries out tasks on your behalf, is available only in the US and Canada. According to Meta's help center, the service is in limited testing and not yet available everywhere, and a condition for signing up for a subscription is being in a country where Muse is available. Muse for Small Business was also announced for the US and Canada only.

When will Muse come to Israel?

Meta has not published a date or a list of additional countries. When it opened in Canada, Meta hinted on X that there are more destinations, without naming a country. Meta did announce that its AI glasses will arrive in Israel by the end of 2026, but that is a separate announcement, and it includes no commitment about Muse. The safe way to know is to follow Meta's newsroom, about.fb.com.

Does Muse work in Hebrew?

Unknown. Meta has not published a language list for Muse in the official sources we checked. The muse.ai landing page is shown in Hebrew, and Meta AI, which runs on Muse Spark, launched in Israel in Hebrew per Ynetnews. But that doesn't prove the agent itself works well in Hebrew. It's worth testing on a real task when it opens here.

Can I use Muse in Israel with a VPN?

We don't recommend it. According to Meta's help page, you need to be in a country where Muse is available, and a VPN doesn't change where you actually are. According to Muse's terms of use, violating the terms may lead to suspension of access to Muse and/or to related Meta accounts. In addition, according to the FTC, a VPN app is given permission to intercept all of your traffic.

What's the difference between Meta AI on WhatsApp and Muse?

Meta AI is an assistant that answers questions, writes and creates images, and it's available in Israel in Hebrew on WhatsApp and on the meta.ai site. Muse is an agent that carries out tasks on your behalf: it works on a virtual computer in the cloud, connects to apps and asks for approval before sensitive actions. Muse is not yet available in Israel.

What can I use in Israel instead of Muse?

For questions and quick content: Meta AI on WhatsApp, or ChatGPT. For long tasks: ChatGPT Work, which replaced ChatGPT agent. For a standing agent: OpenAI's dots, for Pro and Business Premium subscribers. According to OpenAI's help center, the regional restriction on the Pro plan applies to the European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland and the UK, and not to Israel. The rollout is gradual, so check your account. For work in the business's systems, like WordPress and Google Ads: a dedicated agent set up for the business, with separate permission for each system and your approval for sensitive actions.
